Fever Defeat Sky in Tight Game

NaLyssa Smith Leads Fever with 17 Points

The Indiana Fever secured their first home win of the 2024 WNBA season with a 71-70 victory over the Chicago Sky on Saturday night.

NaLyssa Smith led the Fever with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Kelsey Mitchell added 16 points and Victoria Vivians contributed 14 points.

The Fever held a slim lead for most of the game, but the Sky rallied back in the fourth quarter to tie the score at 70-70 with just over a minute remaining.

However, Mitchell hit a jumper with 30 seconds left to give the Fever the lead for good.

The Fever's defense held the Sky to just 2-of-10 shooting from the field in the final quarter.

The win was a much-needed one for the Fever, who had lost their first two home games of the season.

The game is expected to be another close one, as both teams are evenly matched.
